Welcome to the web site of the Philosophy Forum at Wayne State University. The Philosophy Forum meets weekly in Detroit, Michigan, to pursue philosophy in a spirited, lively, and productive fashion. It is our intent to offer a communicative group for the professional, student, and amateur philosopher. We hope that through the love of philosophy, our readers will develop a stronger appreciation of the philosophical positions of others and their own.
The WSU Philosophy Forum's mission is to encourage participation in and dialog with the philosophical community for the members of the organization and the general faculty and student bodies of Wayne State University. We believe that our presence will positively impact the community at Wayne State University by offering a venue for healthy philosophical discourse for the WSU student body.
